On Aug. 6, Pennsylvania authorities arrested a New York man during a drug raid at a Franklin County home. The incident took place just after 9 p.m.
Cocaine found when police search residence
According to court documents, Pennsylvania State Police troopers executed a search warrant at a residence on the 14600 block of Sherwood Drive in Antrim Township. The defendant, age 41, was inside the home and said he would cooperate with the search. Once the troopers were inside the home, they reportedly found more than 200 grams of cocaine concealed in a black tote bag in the living room. They also allegedly found a bag that contained a digital scale, white powder used to mix with cocaine, clear plastic sandwich bags and other items that are typically used to distribute drugs.
The defendant allegedly admitted that the drugs belonged to him, and he was placed under arrest. He was transported to Franklin County Jail for processing and held on $750,000 bail. He has been charged with felony possession with the intent to manufacture or deliver and two misdemeanor drug offenses.
