Brian McCarthy

Brian McCarthy brings his over 12 years of experience in litigation and criminal defense to Bellwoar Kelly LLP. With a background in journalism, Brian graduated summa cum laude from Widener University School of Law in Delaware. He has applied his investigative and writing skills to criminal defense for the majority of his legal career, defending individuals charged with offenses ranging from traffic tickets to murder and everything in-between. As a proud advocate for mental health and recovery from alcohol and controlled substances through his volunteer work with Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers, Brian is uniquely situated to empathize with his clients and work for the best possible solution in each case. A wellrespected member of the Chester County legal community, Brian also practices in Delaware County, Lancaster County, and many other jurisdictions, both state and federal, throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Brian prides himself on his zealous and diligent advocacy for his clients, and on not being afraid to take cases to trial. When not in the courtroom or in the office, Brian lives in Chester County with his wife and three cats.
