Who We Are
First and foremost, the attorneys at Bellwoar Kelly, LLP are trial lawyers. We have won high profile jury trials and bench trials and successfully represented tens of thousands of individuals in criminal, civil, and personal injury cases.
Partner Andrew Bellwoar served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office where he worked from 1988 to 1992. He then worked in a law office in Delaware County representing public officials and police officers. Mr. Bellwoar was named a partner in a firm that represented clients all across Pennsylvania. His practice expanded to include representing individuals, businesses and public entities, advising and guiding them through every type of problem. He has been named as a Best Lawyer of the Main Line for multiple years, most recently in 2019. He regularly provides instruction to other attorneys and public officials, on issues ranging from emerging issues in land development to civil rights.
Partner Evan Kelly served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Chester County District Attorney’s Office from 2000-2002. He also worked as Chief Counsel of Oversight and Investigation for the United States Senate Judiciary Committee for then Chairman Senator Arlen Specter from 2005-2007. Later he served as Treasurer for Arlen Specter’s United State Senate campaign in 2010. Mr. Kelly has received numerous awards as a trial lawyer and has been named a Super Lawyer in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Finally, Mr. Kelly is death-penalty certified and has tried several murder, felony and sex offense cases.
Ryan Grace served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office for over ten years. In this capacity, Ryan was promoted to Chief of the Special Victims Unit, where he was in charge of all child abuse, sexual assault, and domestic violence cases in Delaware County. He has also tried in excess of 35 jury trials as well as hundreds of bench trials.
